20 months

Happy twenty months, Enora!

This has been a pretty busy and hectic month.. Why? Because we're moving! We listed our house back in February, got an offer in March, found a new house in April, closed on the current house in May, and after a ton of issues trying to procure the new house (that's a whole post in itself!), we finally closed on the new house in June and are moving on Saturday! Woo woo! Exclamation points!!!!

Anyway, I will write more about that after the move. This post is about you, Enora!

  • We finally got you a new car seat for my car. I can only assume you are over 30 lbs now and therefore the infant carrier is no longer an option. What a big girl!
  • You know that bump between your eyebrows that I've never really written about on here? Well after some x-rays, a CT scan, and doctor visits, they've determined it's just a cyst and we'll probably get it removed in September.
  • Your hair is getting longer! It's long enough for a short ponytail to stay in for a while.. until you take it out.
  • You actually wave your arm/hand now when waving bye (instead of just opening and closing your hand), and you will sometimes say bye bye too! In general you have become better at saying hi and bye, and even doing so without being prompted.
  • I'm not sure if we can add any new words to your vocabulary this month, but you are getting better with animal noises, mimicking (as well as you can) lots of farm animals like ducks and cows.
  • You love drawing with sidewalk chalk and blowing bubbles outside, along with pushing your dolly around in her stroller.
  • You still have all of your "motherly" instincts and love to put your dolly and other objects to bed. Just a note: it's not recommended to cover the baby's face with a blanket! You'll learn one of these days :)
  • You are making more decisions - if I ask you if you want something or want to do something, you will normally say yes or no, and will even shake your head if it's a no. You still agree to things you're not sure about, though!

Annnnd picture time.
