she's growing!

Enora is getting so big!  I took some unofficial measurements of her around her 3 month birthday and here are her stats, according to me:
14 lbs
24.5"
41 cm head circumference
All stats are about 75th percentile for her age.

 one week old

three months old

We used up the last of her size 1 diapers and she is now wearing a size 2 as of Saturday.  Man that girl goes through a lot of diapers! We're already on package #2.

I've also decided to stop squeezing her into her 0-3 month clothes and have retired all of them. She has a few 3 months left, but she's mainly wearing size 3-6 months and 6 months now. It's sad that she can't wear those clothes anymore but she has so many new outfits to wear that my excitement for that outweighs the sadness. Plus that means more pictures!

Moving on up to the next size of onesies.. this one designed by Nana!

We also just started putting Enora in her activity saucer. It's like one of those little mobile walker things with toys all around it, without the walking part. She can only spin around to get to all of the toys. Pictures are worth a thousand words:
on her tippy toes!

So far she loves it. The first time I put her in it she immediately smiled and started cooing...but of course not for the camera!

On that note, cooing is another thing she's been doing that I forgot to mention in her 3 month post. She makes all sorts of noises and "bird sounds" as we like to call them. She doesn't laugh yet, but I can get her to make some crazy noises (maybe her version of laughing?) by tickling her on her changing table.

Two weeks ago we celebrated her Nonno's birthday.. here's another four generations picture:

Tomorrow we are going to the Henry Ford Museum to look at the lego exhibit. Keith and I went last year (or was it the year before?) and it was really cool to see all of the buildings and whatnot they created. They have a children's area, too, but Enora obviously won't be big enough to play with anything yet. At least she can look.

We are super happy that hockey is back!  The Red Wings are not doing so well right now, but here we are celebrating their first goal of the season:

meh.. go wings...

Oh! I forgot to mention that Enora slept through the night for the first time! On Tuesday she had her last meal at 9:30, went to bed around 10, and didn't get up until 6!  We of course were worried about her not waking up so Keith kept checking up on her, but all was well. Way to go baby girl! She did almost the same thing last night, except she went to bed earlier and therefore got up earlier. We're still working on the whole schedule thing but I know we'll get it down some day.

One last picture.. this is of her "planking" as we call it, where she stiffens out her entire body like a board. She normally does this when she is upset...

but she's still so cute!
