18 months

Happy eighteen months, Enora!

It's crazy to think you are already a year and a half old! And in less than 6 months your little sibling will be here too!

Here's what you are up to this month:

• We finally can add "up" to your vocabulary (although we still have to prompt you to say it) and you can say "please." 
• Headbands! You are totally into headbands. Screw the hair clips and bands that go around your head. You love to put them on and take them off, and I'm thrilled I can put something in/on your hair again. Your hair is getting long enough for pigtails that stay, but you don't like me playing with your hair, so headbands it is.
• You get real angry real quick if something does not go your way, gets taken from you, etc. You even have a tendency to throw yourself on the floor when you're really upset. Hello temper tantrum!
• You love love love love going outside. You love running around, watching us blow bubbles, playing with sidewalk chalk, swinging, going for rides in your stroller, and just playing outside in general. I bet you would stay outside all day if we let you. You'll even grab your coat to let us know when you want to go out.
• At day care (and sometimes at home) you get very possessive of things. Usually it is your coat that you just want to hang on to all day and you will stomp your feet and cry if it is taken away from you. I assume you just want to go outside when all you want is your coat, but you've also done that with other things (day care sent us home with their only burp cloth one day! ha!).
• You are also getting picky about foods. You used to give everything a try, but now you'll refuse something just by looking at it. WTF, kid!
