better late than never - christmas edition

Welp, the holidays got to me so we're going to celebrate Christmas in January! Ok, not really. I'm just going to write about everything Christmas-related that happened in December.

We visited Santa at the Henry Ford Museum again, however this year was quite different than last year...

Enora cried!

She is usually really good with strangers, but I don't think she had enough time to "warm up" to the new environment (the line was really short) and she had just woken up from a quick nap so she was a bit cranky. Oh well. What a priceless picture, though!

We were able to get a nice family picture with Santa, and of course Enora was still pouting.

Then we got a few pics by the giant tree..

And finally a happier Enora!

She loved following this group of kids around

Next up was Christmas Eve dinner at my nonna's house. My mom finally came home from the hospital on Christmas Eve, but she needed to stay home and rest. So just Keith, Enora, myself and my brother went from our side of the family.

Enora had fun hanging with her cousin, Anna

too sweet!

ok, maybe not, haha!

so many presents! She got the disney princess castle, mega blox wagon, the ride on car, and some gift cards and money.

Finally Christmas came! Santa left lots of presents under the tree...

Last year we had a really sleepy Enora and had to wake her up so we could do presents (and get ready for the day). This year she woke up on her own. But before we could open presents we had some breakfast!

more bananas please!

In her stocking Enora found some comfy moccasin slippers that she can put on and take off (since she loves shoes so much!)

She also got some star wars onesies - "R is for R2D2" and "I'm the Princess" with Princess Leia!

We didn't go crazy for gifts this year (again) because she has so much already and we have a tiny house, but here's the rest of her loot:

  • Two big girl chairs from Nana and Nonno (one is at our house and one at theirs)
  • A ball popper toy from us
  • Latch boards from Santa (although she is too young to play with them right now)
  • A fill and spill purse, a big hugs elmo, clothes, suitcase, and travel chalk board from grandma and grandpa bob
  • An art easel and paper and crayons and more clothes! from Aunt Janet

Keith and I got some nice gifts too.. gift cards (essentially all that I asked for this year!), a cupcake decorating class, a new travel coffee thermos, a travel light so i can crochet at night in the car, meat pullers that make you look like wolverine, Legolas's fighting swords, a digital caliper... It was a good Christmas :)

Grandma and Grandpa Bob came over for brunch

Hanging with Aunt Janet!

We visited Grandpa Dan before heading to my parents' house for dinner. Enora was not in the mood for a picture

At Nana and Nonno's with her second chair!

a kiss for Nonna!

The clan, minus Keith. So glad my mom was able to come home for Christmas!
